The GIC was created in 1988 by a group of engineers under the status of Economic Interest Group. It became 6 years later in 1994 a Limited Liability Company SARL. It is the first consulting engineering office in the Republic of Mali created by young graduates. 

In 1988, most young Malian graduates dreamed of being recruited into the state civil service. It was at this moment that we chose to embark on this adventure that many of our classmates found risky. Do you think the sector is buoyant, some people asked us? You are too young to manage a consulting engineering firm, others said. The risk is very great, we hastened to conclude.

Today the GIC MALI is a reference in the sub-region. In April 2004, he received the Malian Quality Prize. This competition was organized by the Ministry of Industries and Commerce in collaboration with the Malian Quality Association (AMAQ) and UEMOA and the INTERNATIONAL GOLD STAR FOR QUALITY DE Business Initiative prize.

GIC MALI has been a pioneer for young engineers wishing to invest in the private sector. Since 1988, the company's staff has been fully invested under the direction of professionals to advance the service.
